3E has recently established its second French office. The office is located on the avenue de Friedland, number 29, in the 8th district of Paris, a stroll away from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées.
Geert Palmers, CEO of 3E: “This is a very important step for us. 3E has developed a leading position in France in solar and wind, starting in 2007, based on its expert teams in Toulouse and Brussels. Given the fact that more and more of our financial and other customers are based in Paris, we feel the need to be continuously present in the French capital. In that sense, the presence in the French capital is an evident step as a commitment to support the French continued market growth.”.
Régis Decoret, head of Wind says: “The French wind market has recovered a lot since 2013 and the feed-in tariff question was sorted out, and more than 1GW of new wind farms has been erected annually since then. 2015 also showed signs of growth in the PV sector with more than 1GW of solar plants connected to the French grid, including Europe’s largest PV power plant, the 300 MW Cestas plant. The outlooks are very positive and our customers are welcoming our move to Paris, this a great opportunity for 3E and it is always great to start an office somewhere, set up the local team and integrate it into the larger 3E’s network of offices worldwide”.
3E will host its annual workshop on technical risks around PV and Wind project finance on 16/02 in Paris.
