Next to a presence at the fair, 3E had the opportunity to share its wind expertise with visitors from around the globe.
Baris Adiloglu, 3E’s Wind Technical Manager, chaired a session on resource assessment. The objective was to share understanding of how climate change impacts wind resource and its assessment, complex flow modelling, LIDARS scanning, advanced weather prediction technology, wakes modelling and turbulence intensity measurements with LiDARs. During this session, four scientists from across the globe gave a presentation based on their field of expertise.
David Schillebeeckx, 3E’s Wind SCADA Analyst, invited his auditors to lift their SCADA data to another level. The session covered the next generation of smart wind turbines, which collect and share information from standard and new sensors to improve online operations and contribute to grid regulation.
