PRESS RELEASE: Global renewable energy developer and service provider BayWa r.e. and Belgium technology company 3E have signed a strategic partnership agreement. BayWa r.e. has chosen SynaptiQ, a SaaS platform by 3E as the new PV monitoring & analytics system for all its strategic PV and BESS assets.

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with The Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation (EAFU), a Ukrainian charity organization dedicated to addressing the energy poverty crisis resulting from the Russian invasion. This partnership marks a significant step in bolstering the efficiency of EAFU’s main initiative, namely in securing an uninterrupted power supply for schools and hospitals affected by the war in Ukraine.‍

PRESS RELEASE: Together with project partners SuperNode, KULeuven, DEME and Umicore, 3E has won funding for a study assessing the impacts on Belgium’s economy of applying superconducting cable technology to support its transition to energy independence and a decarbonized economy.

Renewable power producer Boralex recently celebrated the inauguration of a 15.9 MWp solar park in Pézènes-les-Mines, France. As an independent third party, 3E is proud to have contributed to this project by having conducted the technical due diligence for the financing operation between Boralex and French lender BPCE Energeco.

3E and GEOSun were commissioned by the Pacific Power Association (PPA) to conduct ground-based meteorological measurements for the Pacific Islands region. The solar and wind measurement campaigns had two primary objectives: firstly, to gather the necessary data for future yield assessment of renewable energy projects in high-priority locations. Secondly, to improve and validate the resource assessment models used in the Global Wind Atlas & Global Solar Atlas, thereby improving mapping outputs and time series data for the countries in the region.

3E’s Strategy & Policy team has been overall coordinator and leading the technical assistance in the second phase of the project that ran from 2021 to February 2023.

TGS, a global energy data and intelligence provider has announced today a strategic collaboration with 3E, a leading SaaS company maximizing renewable energy asset performance with digital solutions & expert services, to integrate Virtual Met Mast time-series data into Wind AXIOM, improving its micro-scale wind data capabilities.

The SYMBIOSYST project started in January 2023 with the aim to combine energy supply issues with the agricultural sector needs and to create a symbiosis where PV and agriculture can have a mutually beneficial relationship. The project will develop technological solutions and strategies to increase the competitiveness of agri-PV solutions across Europe minimizing the impact on landscape and surrounding environment.
